How can I file complaints about telecom services of Airtel?

If you have complaints about the internet, fiber/broadband, network connectivity, payment/billing or other Airtel telecom services, and you are one of the customers, follow the below instructions and use the provided customer service details:

Airtel Customer Care Numbers:

  • General Inquiry: Call to the toll-free number 121, 198, or 12150
  • WhatsApp: Message on +919910099100
  • Email: Send an email to 121@airtel.in with the location of the issue and details of the technical problem (if any)

Other Helplines:

If complaints are not resolved, you may call the nodal officer at +919810198101 (prepaid) or +919810012345 (postpaid).

For any complaints related to Airtel Payment Bank, call the helpline number 400 / +918800688006 or email at wecare@airtelbank.com.

File a Complaint Online to Airtel:

  • Visit the Airtel’s website or Airtel Thanks App.
  • Click “Help” from the account section provided in the menu.
  • Select the type of service.
  • Open the email/chat form, online complaint form (selfcare), or mobile app.
    *Fill out the online complaint form with your name or Airtel customer ID, location, the subject of your complaint, and a summary of the problem.
  • Submit the form.

Finally, keep the reference number for tracking and future escalation. You can also use the social media channels of Airtel to raise your concerns.

Escalate to Appellate Authority

If your previous complaints about broadband or telecom services are not resolved by the customer support team or local nodal officers within 2 weeks, escalate the complaints to the Nodal Officer or Appellate Authority of Airtel.

Appeal to Consumer Forum

If not satisfied with Airtel’s resolution (final response from their Appellate Authorities) or unresolved within 30 days, file an informal consumer complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH).
