If you have complaints about civic services, government offices (municipal corporation, Nagar Palika/Parishad, gram panchayats, collectorate, police, etc.), departments, and ministries of Uttar Pradesh, lodge an online public grievance to the Appellate Authority of respective departments through the “Jansunwai (Samadhan) UP - Public Grievance Redressal System” portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh.
You can complain about government schemes, demand new civic services (hospitals, public places, schools/colleges, drainage/bridges, roads, etc.), corrupt practices or misuse of power by public officials/employees, and other disputes (registry of land records, public transportation, agriculture schemes/subsidy, food supply, ration cards, etc.).
Steps to file an online complaint:

Visit the Jansunwai UP (Samadhan) Portal (jansunwai.up.nic.in).

Click the “Register an online complaint” option and Enter the Mobile number and captcha to verify with OTP.

Open the online complaint form.

Fill in the following details in the form:
- Group/Collective complaint Personal Details
- Type of Reference/Grievance (complaint, demand, suggestions, or other)
- Department with complaint category
- Provide detailed information about the issue or complaint.

Provide the location including rural/urban region, district, tahsil/block, village/ward, etc.

Enter the reference and description of old references, if you have any reference number of the previous unresolved complaint.

Upload the application and related documents (maximum 500 KB).

Submit the form and click on the save complaint/reference button.
Finally, note down the complaint reference number to track the status of your complaint. For any technical issues, email to jansunwai-up@gov.in.
Note: If your complaints are not resolved or you are dissatisfied with final response of the officials, submit the online feedback (jansunwai.up.nic.in) form on Jansunwai portal with previous reference number.
For complaints related to Bhu-Mafia, encroachments, and corruption, lodge your complaint by selecting the Anti Bhu-Mafia and Anti-corruption options on the Jansunwai portal of the government of Uttar Pradesh.
If your complaint is not resolved within the given period, you can send a reminder or file a complaint against the resolution. The levels of escalation are:
- First Appellate Officer
- Second Appellate Officer
- Department of Public Grievance, Chief Minister’s Office (CMO)
